Nevada's stunning untamed landscape is home to some of America's most extreme sports, making the Silver State a haven for adrenaline junkies. 3. Mountain Biking - Lake Tahoe

South Lake Tahoe is home to diverse scenic mountain bike trails, which can accommodate various skill levels. Those less experienced riders can start with the 6.5 mile Powerlines Trail, which weaves through the forest, connecting with other trails such as Corral, Cedar and Cold Creek Trail.

4. White Water Kayaking - Truckee River

The Truckee River in Reno offers various levels of rapids for white water kayaking. Kayakers can start their tour in the city of Reno, which is then contrasted by breathtaking scenery along the banks of the Truckee River.
